How long is a membership?

Memberships are annual.

What is the price of membership?

REGULAR MEMBERSHIP is $100 per year

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP (which includes four employees) is $350

STUDENT MEMBERSHIP: $50 per year (this requires photographic proof of full time student matriculation)

Is there a student membership?

Yes, there is! You must be a full-time enrolled student in order to use the student membership rate.

Is there a different price if I live outside the US?

Since events are now accessible via the internet, all events are accessible to members worldwide, and there is only one tier of membership.

Can I listen to lectures without being a member?

Although we encourage membership for numerous reasons, lectures can be accessed for a fee of $50 per lecture. Contact ASJH at least a week prior to the scheduled event, pay the fee through the Paypal portal, and we will send you the invitation link.

I would like to hear a lecture on ______. How could the ASJH help me?

We love hearing from members who have specific requests, and we try hard to find speakers on diverse subjects. Simply write to us via our contact page requesting a certain type of lecture, and we will do our best to offer that lecture as soon as possible.

I am qualified to speak/write on a jewelry related topic. May I be a speaker for ASJH?

Please send your topic, your CV, and your lecture description to our office (info@jewelryhistorians.org). We will send the information to our Lectures Department for consideration and get back to you promptly.

Does the ASJH have a student scholarship?

The ASJH Student Scholarship is to support and encourage newcomers to the field of jewelry. It includes a $750 honorarium, publication of the winning essay in the Society newsletter as well as the opportunity to publicly present the research to the members of the Society and invited guests. Further details about applying for the scholarship will be sent out at a later point in time during the scholastic year.
